Reflection 5 : (Stop doubting your self) - Academic Speaking
Stop doubting yourself and go after what you really, really want | Mario Lanzarotti
After listening to the video "Stop doubting yourself and go after what you really want" by Mario Lanzarotti. I really enjoyed it because it was a very interesting topic. And Mario also explains self-doubt is a mental conversation to find the desired solution to a perceived problem. And why I say this is a very interesting topic because it is so interesting to me it causes me to wonder what is the purpose of my life like what Mario Lanzarotti said. And he says self-doubt can keep you from finding what you really want. And he shared a story that resonated with me because when he graduated from school and what to do, he was so stuck doing nothing. And he watches Hollywood catch if you can. And he got Inspiration after he watched this movie. Maybe, I can learn from trying new things to get motivated or inspired.
And he says we can identify opportunities for success and solve our questions about our imagination, like what if we fail, what if we don't? All we have to have insecure nature, and others just put it aside, and we focus on busyness, and we can rationalize our feelings as unimportant.
And he gives some tips for short trips that might change your life
1. Share your self-doubt with people you trust because you can find the courage to move on
When you approach self-doubt as your enemy, it's your relationship with self-doubt that makes it stronger, and if you view it as a friend, it can help you unlock your true potential.
2. Self-doubt is a call to love yourself and love yourself regardless of your accomplishments
Fill your tank, hug yourself, and imagine life when you imagine you can give everything you need and want. Brings peace and happiness. When doubt comes, don't fight it. Hug it as a friend so you keep filling your self-love tank.
3. Forgive yourself for your past failures
Because we will find something new, which can be a lesson for the future, so, Let go of the blame, and permit yourself to express a new level of confidence.
And what I like the most is the part where Mario reminds us that "Loving yourself takes away the power of self-doubt because self-doubt exists only as an illusion in your mind and your heart has no such illusion."
